教学目标及要求：
1．  听懂会说本课单词、句子、做到学以致用。
2．  能运用一般过去时和一般现在时时态描述发生在过去和现在的事情。
教学重点：
1．  听懂会用grandchildren、grandmother 、fire、 radio 、telephone 、hope  。
2．  会用There  were /weren’t┅┅ .There  are┅┅ .句型描述不同时态的事情。
3．  听懂会说 life 、different 、any 、television 、us 、lady 、 field 。
教学难点：
１．能运用一般过去时和一般现在时时态描述发生在过去和现在的事情。
教学准备：
挂图、图片、录音机、磁带。
教学步骤：
一．Revision
师：“Let’s play a game.”快认快读。（看图抢答单词，帮学生复习一些本课中出现的以前学过的单词）。
China 、bus  、house 、food 。
二．Presentation
１．师：Ｌook,life was very different many years ago.解说教读life 和different 。
出示书第３页第２题图。师说：There were some buses.后打“ⅹ”。引导学生描述：There weren’t any buses.出示新单词television ,教后句型替换说。师拿出孙子，祖母图。教学grandchildren 、grandmother 。
再出示下一幅图比较描述。
２．出示书第３页第３题描述There was a small house four years ago.He lived in it.Now there is a big house.He┅┅.
３．带问题，听录音，回答问题。
师：Ｈow was it different many years ago.
生听后回答。
４．听音，跟读。
第一遍，翻书边听边翻译。
第二遍，跟读全文。
三．Practice
生描述自身的变化。
四．Homework
１．听磁带２－３遍，并做活动用书相应作业。
２．描写一段发生在自己所在地的变化。

五．教学反思
在教学中我尽可能地用图片让学生在观察中掌握现在时和过去时的不同表述。本节课我认为处理较好的方面是导入自然，很好地结合了学生的生活情境，集中了学生的注意力，激发了学生的学习兴趣，唤醒了学生的生活和旧知，为新课的教学作好了铺垫。
