教学内容：
A: How many people are there in your family?
B: Three.
A: Who are they?
B: Look! My parents and me.
A: My family has seven members.
B: Seven?
A: My dad , my mom, my brother ,
my sister, my baby brother and me.
B: But that’s only six!
A: And my little puppy !
在此基础上作适当的扩展。
【教案设计】
一、课题名称：
Come And Meet My Family
二、教学目标：
1、知识目标：
(1)    能听、说、认、读How many people are there in your family ? 
My family has seven members .Who are they ? But that’s only six!等句型，并在一定的语境中能灵活运用。
(2)能够介绍家里的家庭成员及其性格、特点、爱好等。
2、能力目标：
通过小组活动，师生活动，学生与家长互动，培养学生的协作精神，竞争意识和观察、记忆、交际能力及创造性思维。
3、情感目标：
通过谈论自己的家，快乐的家，渗透亲情教育，激发学生对父母、对家庭以至对祖国大家庭的热爱。
4、学习策略：
运用各种教学方法和多种激励措施，如情景教学法、全部动作反应法、听说法、交际法、活动教学法、任务型教学法等，让他们积极参与，大胆实践，尝试交际，体验成功。
三、教学重、难点：
1、使学生熟练掌握How many …are there? Who are they? 等句型的用法，
2、能在真实情景中用How many …are there?  Who are they? My family has… members . But that’s only …! 等句型进行交际。
四、课前准备：
1、教师：录音机及相关磁带、课件、投影仪、教师全家福。
2、学生：学生自制名片、采访表、学生全家福。
3、参与上课的家长。
五、板书设计：
Come And Meet My Family
How many …are there?
Who are they?
My family has… members .
But that’s only …!
六、教学步骤：
Step 1 .Warming up and revision
1. Listen to the songs before class .
Chant: Let’s go, boys…P34 BookⅡ 
设计意图：课前用学生熟悉愉快的音乐及TPR活动，充分调动学生的学习积极性，使他们以主动积极的状态投入到英语学习氛围中。
2. Greetings
T: Class begins. Hello, everyone.    
Ss: Hello, Miss zhou .
T: Today there are so many parents in our class. Are you happy?
Ss: Yes.
T:I know your fathers and mothers are here. Can you introduce them?
S1:This is my father. He is tall. 
  T & Ss: Hello /Hi /Welcome!
S2: This is my mother. She wears a pair of glasses. She likes English…
T & Ss: Nice to meet you./H

设计意图：让学生用英语向其他家长、同学们介绍自己的爸爸、妈妈，既给学生创造了一次表现的机会，又在无形中拉近家长与孩子们的距离。
3. T: Do you love your father and mother?        
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s sing a song for our parents, OK ?       
Ss: OK .
(师生齐唱  “Father and Mother ”.)
设计意图：师生用优美的动作齐唱一首亲和力极强的英语歌曲，进一步拉近家长与孩子们的关系，使教室在座的人员融为一体,同时为下文作铺垫。
Step 2. Presentation and drill
1、(Activity 1)T:I love my father, I love my mother, I love my family, too. It is very big. Do you want to come and meet my family?     
Ss: Yes.
T: Who are they?  Please watch : My grandfather, my grandmother , my father , my mother, my uncle ,my aunt, my brother, my sister, my baby brother and me.
（课件逐个出现干不同职业的高矮胖瘦不一的家庭成员，学生怀着好奇的心情边看边听。）
T: Who are they? Do you remember them ?
Let the students say out the teacher’s family members one by one .
（考考记忆力，让学生凭记忆逐个说出课件曾出现过的家庭成员。）
T: How many people are there in my family? Now let’s watch again.
（课件再次展示高矮胖瘦不一的家庭成员。）
Let the students say out the members together. （学生边看课件边说。）
Ss: Your grandfather, grandmother, father , mother, uncle ,
aunt, brother, sister, baby brother and you .
T: How many people are there in my family?
Ss: 10.
T: How many people are there in your family? Who are they?
Ss answer the teacher’s questions freely .
Read after the teacher : How many people are there in your family?
Who are they?
T asks some students and let the students answer the questions.
T: Now my kids, please leave your seat and interview your friends（同学或家长）: How many people are there in your family? Who are they?
（让学生扮演小记者，利用采访表采访其他同学或家长的家庭成员及其数量。）
