　　本节课环节清晰,自然流畅。从学生们最熟知的家乡名胜入手，以呈现地理文化知识为主线，层层深入，由易到难, 前后呼应，使学生从情感到知识技能与能力都得到全面的收获与提高。
　　本节课处处体现以学生为学习主体，教师为主导的思想。从学生们已有知识出发，结合学生个人的地理知识和已掌握的词汇，给学生充分的表达和运用语言的时间和空间，信息的输入和输出量大。充分调动学生的学习积极性，坚定了学生的自信心，培养了学生运用英语的能力。
　　同时，教师在设计课的时候既考虑面向全体又充分考虑学生的差异性，个体活动与小组活动相结合，给所有学生参与的机会。
　　此外，教师恰到好处地发挥了多媒体的辅助作用，为学生呈现了一幅幅视觉美、音乐美的画面，带领学生欣赏异域的风景，使学生由衷地发出感叹，突破本课的重点和难点。
