Step2. Presentation

1.     Show the pictures: T: What’s this? Ss: It’s an umbrella. The teacher points at the first letter and ask: What letter is this? Help the pupils answer Uu. Then teach Uu. Look at the picture again. T: Where is the monkey? It’s under the umbrella.

2.     Teach letters Vv, Ww in the same way.

3.     Listen to the tape and read the letters after it.

4.     Let’s do. Show the letter cards to say and do.

Step3. Practice

1.     Game: Find the friends. Match the letters.

2.     Game: Look and draw. Draw these words: umbrella, under, vest, violin, window, wind.

3.     Write the letters.

4.     Divide the pupils into two groups. One reads and one does about the contents of let’s do.

Step4. Assessment

      Topic: page 31 in the activity book.

1.     Write the letters.

2.     Listen , number and match.

Step5. Add activities.

Step1. Warm-up/ Revision

1.     Revise the old sentences: Where is your ---? It’s in / on/ under ---

2. Greetings.

3. Game: Listen and do. T: Put your pencil on your pencil-case. Put your book under your pencil-case and so on.

Step2. Presentation

1.     T: I want to draw an apple. Oh, where is my pencil? Is it under the book? No. The teacher looks for the pencil everywhere. But can’t find it. So the teacher walks to a pupil and says: Excuse me. Can I use your pencil? No problem. Then teach: use and no problem.

2.     The teacher comes back to the teacher’s desk and find the pencil and says: Look. It’s here.

3.     Listen to the tape and read after it.

4.     Explain the differences between “excuse me” and “sorry.”

Step3. Practice

1.     Practise the dialogue in pairs. A: Can I use your ---? B: No problem.

2.     Act the dialogue.

3.     Game: Guessing. Close the eyes and guess.

Step4. Assessment

     Topic: on page 32 in the activity book.

     Sentences: Can I use your ---? Sure/ No problem.

Step5. Add activities.

4. Act the dialogue .( Let’s talk.)
