一、案例背景
1．教材和学生分析
本单元的话题是Pets，本课为教学的第一课时，教学对象为三年级起始的小学四年级学生。在这节课中有部分动物是学生经常接触的，而且在三年级和前两个单元中学生刚学的表示颜色的单词以及句型What’s
your favourite colour? My favourite colour is …等内容。只是有部分单词句型是学生初涉的，根据学习内容和学生对所学知识的掌握情况，教学中采用了学生较感兴趣的游戏方式，将学生引入本课教学重点，并对教材进行了整合，以帮助学生在运用和扩展知识的同时发展其语言综合运用能力。
2．教学内容
单词：hamster, budgie, fish, cat, mouse, rabbit, frog, dog.
Chant: Have you got a pet? Yes, I have.
Have you got a pet? Yes, I have.
What have you got? A cat and a dog, a mouse and a frog.
