  S: Welcome to Harbin.
  T:Could you recommend some places to visit in Harbin?
   (引导、帮助学生说一些场所名称。)
  T: let’s look at some pictures. (多媒体课件呈现Heilongjiang Museum黑龙江省博物馆,Songlei Department Store松雷商厦,Xinhua Bookstore 新华书店,China Post Office 中国邮政等图片。学生通过说这些地点的名称来复习学过的地点名词。)
  2.Learn the new words: cafeteria, laundry, theater.
  3.Team work: Write down the name of the places as many as you can. Then show the sheet to all the classes.
  T:Do you know other places?
  T:Each team has a piece of paper.Write down the words together. Just one minute. Let’s begin.
  (在限定时间内小组合作写出知道的一些地点名称,激发学生竞争意识和合作意识,考察学生对词汇的掌握情况。)
  二、设置任务:帮助Jack 找书店,通过画地图学习方位词和短语
  T: My friend Jack needs some help. Let’s have a look. (多媒体播放录像:Jack 站在黑龙江博物馆前。“Hi! I’m Jack. I’m from Shanghai. I want to buy some books. Is there a bookstore near here?”屏幕出现问题“Is there a bookstore near here?”)
  T: Let’s read the question together.
  S: Is there a bookstore near here?
  T: Can you help Jack?
  S: Yes.He can go to Xinhua Bookstore.
  T: Let’s draw a street map for him.
  (在黑板上标出地图的方向,贴上街道,边贴边说街道的名称。)
  T: Where is Heilongjiang Museum?
   (学生说出或贴在黑板上。)
  T:Where is Jack?
  S:He’s at the museum/ in front of the museum. (学生看屏幕说出Jack 的位置,老师帮助学生说出“in front of”,在地图上标出Jack的位置,板书并讲解短语。请两位学生到前面,通过变换老师与学生的位置,学习方位词和短语“between”,“next to”。)
  三、跟读chant,补全句子,锻炼听、读、写3项技能
  T:Listen and repeat, then complete the sentences.
  四、阅读短文画地图,练习方位词和短语,提高阅读理解能力
  T:Read this paragraph and draw a map on your sheet.
   T: Let’s read it together and make the map on the blackboard. (全体学生齐读文段,两名学生在黑板上完成地图。)
  五、同桌合作扮演Jack与指路人,编排对话并表演,在情境中学会运用知识
  T: How can Jack go to Xinhua Bookstore? Can you tell him?
   (一名学生到黑板前边画路线边说明。)
   T:Now, make a dialogue with your friends.
  六、布置写作内容:画家周围的街道图,写一段话介绍。将课堂教学延伸到实际生活中
  T:Look at the map, you all did a good job. Can you draw a street map of other places? Then write some sentences about it.
  (学生根据他们的喜好,充分地发挥了自主性,通过合作学习交流,共同阅读有关各个国家的短文并填空。在不知不觉中让学生自己对本节课进行了一个扩展,在任务中又了解了一些新的单词并且还可以运用到我们随后的展示活动当中,从学生兴趣入手,调动学生积极性,进入本节课的汇报展示部分。)
