一、教学说明:

1.中国的饮食博大精深,每个节日都有它的特点,本课时围绕Mid-Autumn Festival来学习中秋节我们常吃的一些事物,如:mooncake, taro, bean等,让学生感受中国的饮食文化。

2.通过上节课的学习,学生已能用I like to eat….来表述自己喜欢吃的食物。

二、教学内容

1)认知内容:

a. 单词moon, mooncake, bean, taro达到“三会”要求。

b. 能用What do you like to eat?来询问对方喜欢吃什么。

2)能力要求:

用所学句型在情景中正确运用。

3)情感态度:

让学生感受中国的饮食文化。

1. Warming up.

1. Sing a song by actions.

2. Greetings:

通过唱唱、说说、做做,让学生感受英语的氛围,为导入新课作准备。

1. Say the chant

2. Encourage the pupils to say the sentence:

I like to eat…

用儿歌的形式复习上节课的内容,并鼓励学生用I like to eat…来说说自己喜欢吃的食物。

II.While-task procedure:

Words teaching:

moon

1. Draw a circle on the board. Let the pupils guess:

What is it?

2. Colour the circle yellow and draw some stars around it.

3. Elicit the word: moon

4. Show the word card and read.

5. Play the tape and enjoy the song of Page 31

6. Listen again and follow it.

7. Sing and act together.

让学生将看到的圆发挥充分的想象,可能会是什么东西?

Words teaching:

mooncake, taro, bean

1. Teacher points to the moon and say: The moon is big and round. Mid-Autumn Festival is coming.[

2. Encourage the pupils discuss what they eat in Mid-Autumn Festival?

3. Show the picture cards and word cards.

4. Read them aloud.

5. Practice the new words.

2)   Guessing game.

让学生讨论人们怎样欢度中秋节的,会吃什么食品,尽量利用学生的生活体验,引出教学内容。

单词和图片的配对以及看口型猜单词经常用于巩固单词。

A new pattern:

1. Put the fruit card on the board and model the dialogue with a pupil.

2. Show the sentence:

What do you like to eat?

3. Read the sentence in different voice

4. Hold up a picture about Mid-Autumn Festival. Play the tape. Pupils listen and repeat several times.

5.Look at the picture . Then ask and answer:

让学生用不同的声音来朗读新句型,使枯燥的学习变得有趣。

III.Post-task activity:

Do a survey.

1. Ask the pupils to survey your friends or teacher what they like to eat.

1.媒体准备:中秋节的图片,录音,bean, mooncake, taro的实物或图片,单词卡片

1)关注整体认读卡片单词moon, mooncake, bean和taro。

2)关注问句What do you like to eat?语音语调。
