十六、季节（The seasons）

7. The days get shorter and the nights get longer in autumn/winter.

十七、提醒注意（Reminding\warning）
1.直接提醒对方不要忘记做某事。
Don’t forget your raincoat.
Remember to lock the door.
Make sure that all the windows are closed.
2.表示禁止做某事，用于公共场所标志语的英文表达。
No smoking! \ No parking! \ No littering! \ No eating or drinking!
Keep off the grass.
3. Look out! It’s dangerous! \ Be careful! \ Don’t touch!一般用于见对方有危险，且情况紧急的时候。
十八、劝告（Advice）
1. You’d better go to see a doctor. \ You should listen to and read English every day. \ You need to buy a Chinese—English dictionary.这些句式直接地提出忠告或建议，语气较强，适合在非常熟悉的人之间使用。
2. If I were you, I’d phone him now.这种句式所表达的忠告或建议都比较容易被对方听从或接受，可以根据实际需要用于不同的场合，一般适合在熟人间使用。
3. Don’t hurry \ push. \ Please stand in line.用于比较直接地建议对方按指令完成某个要求，或者不要做某个动作。
十九、建议（Suggestions）
1. Let’s go and have a look. \ Shall we go now?
表示说话者与听话者一块去做某事。
2. What \ How about a picnic this Sunday?
Why don’t you buy a computer?
这种句式适合在朋友、同事等之间使用。
